Late Inning Heartbreak — again!
To me it’s very frustrating this early in the season to have seen the Sox offense comeback to tie the game in the 8th or 9th inning only to lose the game at the opponent’s next at bat. Now, I like Embree. In fact, I’m usually very comfortable with Embree and Timlin, I thought the two of them were perhaps the most underrated combo in a bullpen. Last night with Tampa Bay irritates me. I hate to see the pen blow games, but it’s early in the season. I have to hope that Embree’s location will come around, otherwise our elite bullpen will tread in mediocre waters for awhile.
