Wells Returns To Finish A’s
It appears everything is on schedule with pitcher David Wells. At the time of his injury, doctors said he could miss 3-6 weeks, and he’s back at the end of 3 weeks. The last time Wells was on the DL he returned to pitch 2 gems in his first 2 appearances. I’ll be looking for the same, especially since we need to take this series in Oakland. The offense has been miserable in manufacturing runs. Last night we won by the walks given out by the Athletics’ pitchers.
Tonight, Wells needs to be his top form because the offense may not be there… as it hasn’t really been there all season.
