Red Sox Sweep AND Close Gap To 1-Game

Edgar Renteria practically willed the sweep tonight, with a homerun and a late inning RBI double to propel the Sox over the Indians for the sweep and move them within 1 game of the Orioles.

The real highlight might, however, be the performance from Wade Miller. He didn’t get the decision but it’s nice to see the starting 5 clicking on all cylinders, and when Schilling returns we may have the only V6 in the majors ;)

ON NOTE: Tim Wakefield is on the mound for the opener with the Phillies, he’ll be looking to even his record at 6 and 6.

I think the biggest highlight of the game was Embree not giving up a big hit with the bases loaded and one out. Every Sox fan must of thought the same thing. “Here we go again”. I guess Tito can chalk up another one in the ” Don’t question my motive” column.
