Rumor Mill
Well it’s everyone’s favorite time of the year. No not Christmas ( although last Christmas was sweet, because Theo Claus gave us a Captain). It the no-waver trade deadline. Some say don’t fix it if it’s in first place. But everyone knows that we have a real issue in the bullpen and possibly the rotation. The latter depending on health.
So what would you all like to see? Rumor has the Sox are looking at Jason Schmidt from SF. He would be a nice piece in October. Danny Baez has also been mentioned. He may be one of the better options floating around. Miguel Batista from Toronto has been another name on the block.
What ever it is we need to make sure we can win for years to come. It’s time for a change of the guard in the AL East.

Leave Batista in Canada. Schmidt wouldn’t be bad. Of course, you never know — these guys could and should turn it around. I mean, how long was everyone waiting for Manny to realize the World Series parade ended and that everyone is playing again?
