2nd Half Approaches

I haven’t yet filled out my 2nd half fantasy team roster yet, but I’ll do that before the day’s over. Subsequently I have more important things to ponder, like the upcoming REAL second half of the baseball season.

I’m not sure what’s going to go down for trades. I have heard many speculations, and near confirmations. Payton — is out. Schilling will be in the pen. Millar, who the hell knows? Burnett, or any other arms is still up in the air. Foulke is on the sideline, which might be a safer place to have him this year for the Sox. Manny needs to continue his streak, and so does Damon and so does the offense. In fact, I don’t expect to have the rotation putting up spectacular numbers in the 2nd half. Hopefully Clement will continue to dominate, and I’d like to see Arroyo have the same quality 2nd half that he had last year. Wake, well, Wake can be very solid.

To say I don’t have any concerns about the team in the 2nd half, is shorting my situation a great deal. For one, the internal dialogue between every player and probably down to every janiter, is ear-numbing. Let’s get going and start playing championship baseball around the horn!
