Being a Good Fan
A good fan doesn’t get front row seats and then steal a ball from the home team! These people should be screened! I heard a long time ago, before Orcillo came on, that if it’s a playable ball let the home team make a play. If it’s the visiting team go for the ball! You are in the closest seat to the field so you should know that almost any ball coming to you will be playable. Remember Bartman? If that crap happens in the wrong time of the year, you could forever be remembered as a Retard! Sorry for the harsh words but ” Here’s to you Mr. Steal the ball from your own team Man.”
Of course that would of gave us a one run game in the 9th. But for my game summary it goes as ” Mussina sucks for one inning; Red Sox suck for eight innings.” Every one have fun this weekend watching the struggling Yankees beat up on the worst Red Sox.

Ya, you sound like a great fan: “Every one have fun this weekend watching the struggling Yankees beat up on the worst Red Sox.”
You must mean, watch the Sox come back and take 3 of 4 from the Yankees

I meant what I said. I Sox are down right now. It may be a trade deadline thing. It’s a good thing we got Tampa coming up. We’ll need to build momentum before going to Chicago. But tonight we face Scott Kazmir who is almost in the same group as Lilly, Chen and R. Lopez.
I’m one of the biggest fans of the Sox, but I’m not blind. Something needs to change now or we’ll be the one’s golfing in October.

I think I may agree with Shawn. The Sox seem to be in a ‘limp’ more than a slump. Their play has been more than just lame, it’s been radically inconsistent. Clement, although his win total leads the rotation, has not been completely dominant. His ERA, however good, is still not untouchable (given Pedro’s sub-3 ERA, I don’t think I’m the only one missing him this year).
Unfortunately, the Sox have bigger wholes to fill than an ace and a closer, the team moral seems a bit down… and when this time is having a good time, the rest of the league might as well go shine their golf clubs.
