Can’t Sleep, Can’t Rest
I can’t sleep, I can’t rest, and neither should the Sox. For two reasons: the play of late has been excruciatingly painful. And, we need to find that change, that little catalyst that motivates this ball club to perform at their potential consistently.
As I watch the Sox bumble around at the top of the AL East, I have too many questions running through my mind. The most important of them all: What the hell are these idiots doing? Now, I mean that in the best possible way. I’m a huge Sox fan, hence why I started BoSoxBlotter, but from the front office down to the 25th man, these guys have (yet again this year) hobbled their way to mid-season. The lineup on paper looks good, better than the Yankees (arguably). But the Yankees just handed it to us like we’ve been their slaves for the last 3 years.
We need to get structure and start steam rolling. Experiments are nice, but please not for an entire season.
