Sox Slip Again, Fallout of First Place
This day has been coming for sometime, given the recent play by the Red Sox. Kazmir did it to us again, limiting the Sox bats to barely a run. Unfortunately, Wade Miller continues to throw a lot of pitches and give up more than his share of runs. Last night, however, he should have been yanked before surrendering those final 2 runs.
Am I down? Yes, but far from out. This club still has tremendous talent and leadership. These guys should be rolling along right now. Instead we have more holes to fill than a broken water hose.
ON NOTE: Johnny Damon’s hitting streak was snapped at 29 games.
