I agree, hopefully it will be a spark plug, especially after the six-run first and nine-run performance they put up today. Graffanino hit a nice double, and hopefully his performance stays constant. Do you think that the Sox will deal out Arroyo, Millar or even (god forbid) Manny? I really hope not. They do need an arm in the starting rotation, but not enough to ged rid of one of the best hitters in the league, a great dugout personality and team player, or even a pitcher who could possibly be a fantastic pitcher once he hits his prime. What do you think?

I enjoyed the performance today, especially well. It's starting to look like a winning streak :-)

I'm not so sure that the Sox will deal Arroyo or Millar, both are known to have better second halfs. Arroyo has been fairly consistent and can really get into a groove, like last year into this year (don't forget he had a strech of about 18 games without a loss). Millar may get shipped, but not sure what teams would be interested in him. Tito puts him in the lineup (as he did last year) despite extensive slumps -- how many managers/ballclubs would do that?

Manny isn't going anywhere, probably. His price-tag is so high, the Sox would be forced to take a portion of his salary... most likely. Many clubs learned not to fork out so much doe on long-term contracts (thank goodness for Theo).

I agree with you, Mike, but it just seems that something drastic is going to happen to this team over the next TEN days, I just feel it in the air, I guess. Like the Nomar trade. I was shellshocked to see that happen, even though it worked out for the best, but I just know that something's going to happen. Sometimes, I would really like to see if we can win with who we have, because those guys are all brothers in that clubhouse,
