How Good Are Things Going?
We’ve won something like 11 of the last 14 games, not bad… When you consider how the Sox don’t have a dominant ace, you might start to wonder how long can we keep going like this. Unfortunately, our starting rotation has been anything but spectacular on a consistent basis. Clement, who happens to lead the team in wins, has a plus 4 ERA. Our team ERA is nothing to be proud of, or even mention here. Luckily, the offense can put up big numbers for the team. What happens when we run into another team’s ace on his game?
Do we need a couple of ACES in our back pocket to make it down the stretch? Can our existing lineup of pitchers turn out a few kings and queens to get the job done?
