8/19/05- Mark Bellhorn Designated for Assignment
I have been waiting for this day. If you have read posts on this site you would know that at the minute I heard those words, a celebration would begin. Sorry Mr. K, you had a few timely homeruns last year. That wasn’t good enough to make me like you. You played a decent second base. But others have played it better for less money and less strike outs. I guess the real problem was that you performed above expectations in 04′ and couldn’t repeat in 05′. Oh by the way, I didn’t like you in 04′. My wife now says that I will be even more unhappy, since now that you are gone. Who will I blame now? It was almost entertaining to boo you. In all reality after you make it past 10 days, the Sox will sign you to a AAA contract and bring you up on September 1st.

Not so sure we’ll see Millar DFA’d. Despite low power numbers, weak glove, he can spot start in the outfield for those “rare” Manny-days and until Nixon is back. His home run total is just a bit better than the Marlins’ Burnett, but his average isn’t aweful. He can still unload on fast ball pitchers, and who else will take care of Manny?

Is it true, Shawn, that you’ll be throwing the “Welcome Back Bellhorne Party” after he clears waivers and ends back up on the Sept. 1 roster?

You are a gigantic, fat, fucking idiot. Bellhorn played the game hard and kept his mouth shut. If you had any clue you would know that a strikeout is the same as any other out and people like Graffanino and Renteria make outs at the same rate as Bellhorn - or even worse than Bellhorn. Batting average is not a very good stat to determine effectiveness.
So there you go, you are a fat, fucking stupid moron who should shut his hole and take down this idiotic blog
