Good morning Kevin Millar
For those of us who’ve been waiting for the sleeping mini-giant known as Kevin Millar to wake up, maybe our wait paid off last night. Millar stroked 2 home runs to help the Sox defeat the Tampa Devil Rays with a come from behind victory, again.
Millar who went nearly 200 at bats without a homerun, something we all knew, might be just warming up. He usually does much better in the 2nd half of the season, and certainly at the friendly confines of Fenway Park. The Sox offense has been saving the team on a regular basis from poor pitching performances, and last night was no surprise. All things considered, I’d still like to see Millar get 10 homeruns in the next 15 games, but that might be “real” wishful thinking.
