Simple Questions. Hard Answers.

Essentially it is a best of seven series, starting tonight. We have the home field advantage. Both teams are hot, even though one may be a little cooler than the other. Here’s the test.

Will the Jays play like this is their World Series? They’ve played us way to hard this year and I don’t think it will be much different in these next 4 games.

Will Sam Perlazzo motivate his Orioles to stop this 8 game losing streak and string a couple together against NY? The Yanks own the O’s, but Perlazzo after all is managing for his job next year.

How much will those last 3 in Fenway matter? We will not know until Thursday night, so it’s up in the air. Also depends on the AL Central race.

Will there be a game on Oct. 3? Let’s hope our guys do their job and make sure that Oct. 2nd is the last day of the season.

As far as I can foresee, this 7 game series is in our hands. We just have to play the way we did this past weekend. Minimal errors, key hits and solid pitching. We have to take advantage of this final home stretch. But I’m also guessing you are going to see a very exciting game 7.
