The year was 2003, and they were cowboy-ing up. Unfortunately a dismal extra-innings game 7 in the League Championship Series knocked the cowboys off their horses for good that year.
The year was 2004, and they were idiots. Few of them could find their way to a barber to get a decent hair-cut, but a World Series Championship chair fit them better than any barber stool could have.
This year, 2005, and they are survivors. A season plagued with injuries and sub-par performances has landed this team in an exciting divisional race. Young has replaced old, where necessary.
