How Much Is He Worth?
Theo and the brass are rumoured to be way apart in their negotiations on the next contract. Honestly, I think any GM making $2mm a year is making too much. Even with his missed opportunities, he’s one of the top GM’s in the league. He’s kept the farm system intact, and continues to make nice additions to it. Certainly, that’s not to his credit solely.
Is $1mm or more too much for a GM? I don’t really see why he needs to be making more than that. I would certainly do it for $50k a year, wouldn’t you?

2.5 is crazy money for a GM. Theo will set his bar high and probably sign on for a 3yr deal worth 1 to 1.5 mil. It would almost be funny if they gave him player like incentives such as……so much per good in season trades or days he keeps Manny happy. Who knows, but if I were the GM in Boston I would need at least 6 figures.
