Yanks Won’t Get Mazzone
Boston.com reported that legendary Atlanta Braves pitching coach, Leo Mazzone, agreed to a 3-year contract with the Orioles after meeting with the New York Yankees. This might make it difficult for BJ Ryan to want to leave, and certainly should help improve the O’s pitching staff.
I’m gald the Yanks didn’t get him, but would have preferred he stayed out of the AL East altogether.
Oh, and hats off to Houston. Pitching-pitching-pitching! However, I think I’m rooting for the Sox in the Series.
