What A Long Strange Trip

Sent 2B Mark Bellhorn outright to Triple-A Columbus; Bellhorn refused the assignment and is now a free agent.

Something tells me that this guy is going to have a hard time finding a job. I would dare say that he’ll never start again on a regular basis because he beat someone out for a position. Talk about going from top of the world to nothing. Maybe he should talk to Nomar.

    I think somebody likes this player too much to let go and stop writing about ;-) I mean, what does he have to do with the BoSox nowadays anyway? Or, do u think the team might resign him for 2006 ;-)

    The way I see it is, if it’s Yankees news…it’s Red Sox news. Keep your friend close but keep your enemy closer.

    Besides he’s one of Terry’s boys so it wouldn’t shock me.
