For Those Who Want To KeepManny

Manny Rameriz wants out of Boston, but many fans wish it weren’t so. The reports that he’s demanded to be traded have fueled many a discussions: from what we could get in return, to the importance of keeping him around. Apparantly the $20 million a year salary can and can’t be an issue with some.

In any event, fans have taken to grassroots organizing and petitioning. The folks at KeepManny.com have well over 2,000 signatures saying Manny should stay. Hopefully they don’t organize a candle-light ceremony outside his residence.

    I just signed that thing and it has over 10,000 sigs! It got like 300 in the 5 minutes I spent on that page!
