Word On Edes Street - Damon Deal Looking Good
Apparantly Gordon Edes doesn’t sleep much. He was roaming the halls at the GM Winter meetings around 3 AM and ran into Johnny Damon’s agent, legendary Scott Boras. It seems ole Scotty-boy dropped a subtle note that negotiations were going well with the Sox and Damon.
This could mean a couple of things:
Time will tell if Johnny returns with the Red Sox for the 2006 season, a roster that’s changing faces a lot lately.
