Tired of The Theo Rumors
In case we all forgot, there were plenty of rumors swirling around just before Oct. 31, 2005 when Theo opted not to re-sign with the Red Sox as GM. The majority of those rumors were stating that Theo was essentially a done deal. That he was coming back and continue as the club’s General Manager…
Boy, how wrong they all were.
The recent flurries of rumors about Theo signing as a consultant, are just that. Rumors. I don’t care if they are coming from Edes this time. And I’m not saying that it will never happen, but if history has shown us anything at all, it’s that only Theo knows what Theo’s gonna do. Until his signature is on the dotted line, nothing is happening. Possibilities are endless, and so to it seems are the rumors that may or may not come to be.
