Bill Mueller Is Not To Return
We know it wouldn’t happen. For some reason, we weren’t willing to truly entertain having this clutch hitter/fielder on the team for another 2 seasons. Bill Mueller has signed with the Dodgers, and he deserves his pay-day.
After getting Lowell from the Marlins, there really wasn’t room for Mueller on the team, and that sucks. If any player has been consistent throughout his tenure with the Sox, it was Mueller.
