					<description>I didn't want to hear this, but part of me thought it was inevitable. Damon is a great lead-off hitter, one I don't really want to see start 19 games against the Sox.

I think his decision is clear evidence he never had Red Sox Nation in his heart -- he want for a bit more money, not years. And, he went to the Yankees.

It's a great blow to an end of an era. The cowboys and idiots are gone. This won't be the most perfect Christmas :-(

Hopefully Beckett, Schilling, and Papelbon have 20 win seasons -- how sweet would that be?</description>
