Reports are popping up everywhere today about Miguel Tejada’s continued dissappointment with how the Baltimore Orioles are running/building their team. Will this be enough to have Baltimore pull the trigger on the Red Sox offering of Rameriz and Clement for Tejada?

At this point, I still doubt it. If it does happen, I really hope we don’t end up eating parts of Rameriz’s contract. If that’s the case, have Manny stay put and say we tried. Of course it wouldn’t surprise me if Manny “axed” this deal. Does he really want to play in Baltimore?

And although Tejada would fill our need for a short stop and help replace a lot of the numbers we’d lose with losing Manny, I’d still like to see Manny stick around — who doesn’t want a future hall of famer on their line up card?

Speaking of Hall of Famers, the site’s not quite ready yet, but those of you who know me, know I’d love to see the Rocket Roger Clemens return to Fenway as a member of the Red Sox for the farewell, final Cy Young Award -2006- season.
