Ortiz Close to Getting what he Deserves
Rumor has it that Big Papi is going to pulling in some big dough. One of Ortiz’s family members told ESPN Desportes that the most clutch hitting in Red Sox history is close to signing a 50 million 4 year deal. Of course Papi has denied this and not much is coming from Theo.
This is one player that most can agree on. At all cost and soon, a mega deal should be handed to Ortiz. Do not let this drag on until it’s too late. If the Sox keep playing this “wait until the season is over and then we’ll talk” game, it will hurt us more than help us. I think that after this off-season, we will see more timely deals, like the one given to Tito.
