Sox fans exploded when he came up onto the on-deck circle with Ramirez &amp;amp; Ortiz and they did it again when he went behind the plate to catch for Wake.

A different story for Johnny Damon though. The boos drowned out the cheers. The price you pay for defecting to the Evil Empire!</description>

					<description>Mirabelli coming back is a good thing, but I don't think that it was more of Bard not being able to adjust quickly. I think it was more about getting top potenetial out of Wakefield. In Mirabelli's first 6 games with Wake he also had 10 pass balls (the same as Bard). But now that Wake is 4 years older and a very integeral part of our rotation in a needy time, this was the right thing to do. Bard is a servicable backup and has a chance to be a starter some day in SD. Cla Meredith stock has been dropping ever since that Richie Sexon grand slam last May.
